Clumsy Lovers - To dance like a fish, straight up and down in short little jumps doesn't really sound like too much fun at first. Then the music works its magic on the crowd and the entire audience starts flying through the air in wild abandon...

Civilized Animal - Civilized though they may be, this is the only ska-ish band I have seen that made me want to come back for more. I just don't dig the style too much...

Curtis Salgado - Blues city, baby. Curtis gets mean and nasty on his harp, and packs a killer voice to back his blowin'...

Flaverpak - Well, well, well. Flaverpak is the newest addition to this website, and to the area. They are a freaky stylie mix of funk/jazz/rock, leaning heaviest on the rock side. ...

Floater- One of the most watched bands in the entire northwest in the past five years, Floater serves it up with no mistakes.

4th Plain Jiant- Talk about your tight bands! Rarely will I ever see a band that is so solid that errors do not exist. Some would say the group is not pushing themselves to the limit if no mistakes are made, but the music designed by 4th Plain Jaiant is really quite good. The band really does follow in the footsteps of Dave Mathews, though they probably hate me saying that.

Doug Hoekstra- Think of it as a sonic twister heading across a passionate musical plain touching down without warning and delivering glorious unheaval everywhere it lands. Doug Hoekstra's music is never quite what you think it's going to be...

Linda Hornbuckle- Linda is a soul diva here in the northwest-really the only one that I know of. This woman gets the crowd goin', boy. She has been playing around the west coast for a long time now, and headlines a lot of shows and festivals. She can even be caught at the semi-well-known Mt. Hood Jazz Festival each year...

Jive Talkin' Robots - Now hear this, now hear this...the Robots are back on the west coast again! After touring the entire USA and the east coast in particular, they have finally come home to roost(1/2000). With both hands clapping, I say, "Buy the CD. Go see the band. Drink beer with them after the show".

Jollymon- Nasty, man. Totally heavy. Samples, scratchin', guitars, bass, the whole enchilada. Super groove with a heavy twist. How is that for a review?

M.I.R.V.- Kicks Ass !!! Super musical talent with tenacious rockin’ intensity. Another of the Bay Area touring bands, m.i.r.v. gives any live show, and I do mean ANY, a run for their money...

Phat Sidy Smokehouse- Ok. Here we go again, kids. It is my turn to bless this page with info on a band I have seen recently that really kicks butt. This one is no stranger to the northwest, by any means, but they still impress with their high energy shows.

Porterhouse- Whether these guys control their audience with three musicians in the band or five, they kick major butt. My highest recommendation goes out to this act if you like funk and/or jazz with a whole lot of bootie. The crowd has been scared to dance in many places that they play, but when people get up, the music gets crazy-good!

The Runaway Boys- The Runaway Boys are coming to town. Lock up your daughters, run for your lives, this foursome is for real and they are here to stay. With a helping of old school rock and roll driven with new school guitar, standup bass and a punk rock drummer, the Runaway Boys have made their way into the hearts of fans seeking music with a twist.

Storm and her Dirty Mouth- There is definitely a STORM on the horizon, and hopefully it won’t be too long before everybody gets a chance to hear what the buzz is about.

Tire Belly- Ok, Ok. I am a child of the eighties, and Eddy Van Halen was one of the reasons I began to play guitar. With that admission given, I must say that Goob, the guitar master of Tire Belly, kicks ASS! The whole act is about kicking butt onstage and having a good time.

Valhere- Valhere is a great band that is a northwest original. The members include Andy Koontz as lead vocalist and rhythm guitar; Randy Bowden on bass; Mike VanYserloo on drums and background vocals, and a relatively new member Scott Phillips as lead guitarist
