Civilized Animal
Civilized though they may be, this is the only ska-ish band I have seen that made me want to come back for more. I just don't dig the style too much. The Animal had a great twist with some true funk thrown in, as well as guitar help to make the night a fun one. I saw them in Spokane, at the Spokane Brewery...talk about an awesome night! (thanks James, from the guys in The Feel!)
These guys packed the house until it was a giant sweaty dance festival, and they are SO tight! I cannot find a website for these dudes, so please let me know if they have one if you know. You will enjoy the show if you like funk and lots of horns, with limited guitar playing. You'll hate it otherwise!
